Beirut Explosion – Negligence or Bombing?

This footage suggests that negligence alone might not have caused the ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse in Beirut’s harbour to have exploded. Like many Lebanese, the couple was filming the fire from their balcony. The woman heard what sounded like the approach of a plane and shouted a panicked warning just before the first detonation is heard. There is certainly a sound, clearly recorded in the video, to suggest it came from an external source. At that point, the fire was seen to suddenly flare-up, followed almost immediately by the first explosion. Moments later the second massive blast rocked the city and threw them off their feet. According to the above tweet the couple died in the conflagration that followed, however, subsequent reports say they were injured.

As the story of the bombing continues, more information has been forthcoming but it is still difficult to separate fact from speculation. There was definitely no sign of an aircraft in the moments before the first explosion, and the sound heard on the video may have been generated by the growing force of the fire.

The port was known to be under Hezbollah’s control and they must certainly have been fully aware of the unstable storage of the ammonium nitrate. There has been conjecture from some quarters that it was to be used by Hezbollah with the intention of launching an attack against Israel. If the explosion at the warehouse could indeed be laid at the feet of Hezbollah, or any other organisation for that matter, it could be construed as an act of war against the Lebanese people…

President Trump had his own suspicions regarding the explosion:

“We have a very good relationship with the people of Lebanon and we will be there to help. It looks like a terrible attack,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

“I’ve met with some of our great generals and they just seem to feel that this was not some kind of manufacturing explosion type of an event … They seem to think it was an attack. It was a bomb of some kind.”

The US president, however, did not present any evidence to back his claim.

In this rather horrible year, we have witnessed events that throw 2020 into stark focus and suggest that 2021 maybe worse!

Despite the seeming inevitability of war in the Middle East, inscribed in daily events, cross-border skirmishes with Israel and surrounding nations, Israel was among the first to offer help to Lebanon. And, in a gesture of solidarity with her shattered neighbour, Tel Aviv lit up with the Lebanese flag.

My heart goes out to Lebanon. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who suffered loss of family or friends, to those who were made homeless, to those who have lost businesses or their source of income, and to all who have been emotionally devastated by the events of August 4th, 2020. May God be with you as you deal with this massive personal blow, and work once again towards the healing and restoration of your country.

Opus Dei – Points to Ponder

Review by Dem Kambouris – 5 Dec 2018 – Updated: 23 Feb 2019.

Whether the method of how it happened may be described as coincidence, mystery or providence, a provocatively interesting book came into my possession to read and to return. I found it to be intensely deep and challenging.
I am delighted to have this experience.
The title is OPUS DEI authored by Lyn J. Pickering (2011), and as at 2018 she has written several other books.
She lives in Hilton, KwaZuluNatal.
There are two elements of authorship that project strongly to my sense of comprehension.
The author’s vast and rich vocabulary that creates the emotionally stirring living conditions and the mysteriously dangerous theme. Secondly, the skill of interlacing the revelations of the journalist’s investigation with the degenerate intentions and also with obvious links to actuality.
The book depicts the lesser-known influences which are subtle, conspiratorially manipulative and threatening, that drive the course of nations, people and the entire world through the ages.
It threads the dangerous collaboration of powerful figures, religious, financial and secular, as they weave their subversive web between allies, enemies, religions and politicians that has the ultimate objective of enslaving the world towards total control.
The following extracts, from the book, of statements and references are a hint of the actual backdrop against which the storyline is imposed.

  1. Winston Churchill (1920)
“From the days of Sparticus-Weishaupt (who founded the secret order of the Illuminati on May 1, 1776) to those of Karl Marx, to those of Trotsky, Rosa Luxembourg (Germany) and Emma Goldman (United States), this worldwide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and of impossible equality, has been steadily growing.
It played a definitely recognizable role in the tragedy of the French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the nineteenth century: and now at last, this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads, and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.”
  2. Craig S. Karpel Cartergate: The Death of Democracy.
“The presidency of the United States and the key cabinet departments of the federal government have been taken over by a private organization dedicated to the subordination of the domestic interests of the United States to the international interests of the multinational banks and corporations.
It would be unfair to say that the Trilateral Commission dominates the Carter Administration. The Trilateral Commission is the Carter Administration.”
  3. Mayer Amschel Rothschild 1743 – 1812
“Give me control of a nation’s currency and I care not who makes its laws”.
The story is centred in Lebanon as the focal point of the Middle East’s unsolvable conflict situation that always impacts the world, and the plot moves frequently into the international arena.
It develops around the character, an investigative journalist and his family, as they try to live their private lives and also as they interact with actual and characterized politicians, financiers and religious figures.
The events and experiences as described in the narrative are directly applicable to historical and present time actuality, as uncanny or bizarre as this may seem.
As a very small sample of this astounding yet inescapable reality are the following summaries:
 In the seventies, OPEC countries were encouraged to drive the oil price up and the sales were guaranteed, as long as the profit was invested in certain American banks. These banks created holding companies that in turn loaned Arab money to Third World countries.
The same people who have controlling interest in these prime banks, hold controlling interest in the major oil companies. The outcome is rising interest rates and deepening recession. The developing
countries see their exports begin to fall while the import price of oil and interest payments rise dramatically, resulting in debt crises and international evil influences.
 These and other manipulations are orchestrated by the financiers to expand their malevolent greed and in the process to mercilessly pawn religions, social orders, national and international interests.
They found that currency or loan deposit accounts had the required appearance of power that could be used to induce people into surrendering their real wealth in exchange for a promise of greater
wealth. They would put up real collateral in exchange for a promissory note as long as it was backed by someone’s stock of gold as a persuader.
Such promissory notes are loaned to individuals and to governments, creating a sense of overconfidence. Then they tightened the controls and collected the collateral. This cycle could be used to ignite religious conflict and wars, civil and international, and the availability of currency could determine who would win the war.
The government that gave them charge of its economic system gained their support. Collection of debts was guaranteed by economic aid to the enemy of the debtor.
 Simultaneously, self-anointed and dishonourable so-called religious leaders sidle into the web of corruption and apply their own malicious plans for their ill-conceived and wicked purpose that has the similar objective of enslaving people.
 The ultimate goal of these autocrats and power-hungry politicians was to create a socialist world order under one single leader.
Social engineering required new improved weapons.
These were to be found in the high speed computerized technology that is used to control humans, and in the data processing system that could race ahead of society and predict when it would be ready for capitulation.
The solution in current problems required a ruthlessly candid approach; there would be no agonizing over religious, moral or cultural values.
Concepts of truth and morality were dishonoured to the extent that it threatens the pillars of ethics, with the intention to corrupt the accumulated wisdom and expertise of the world population to the point where they are suckered to accept banal and irrational beliefs, all aimed by the tyrants at the crazed drive towards ruthless dictatorship.
The callous pursuit progressed to the point where the depraved goal was finally achieved and it endured for a relatively short period during which the populace became virtual slaves.
Until a small dissident group initiated by the hero (the journalist) of the story started to agitate discreetly, growing in support and corresponding boldness and eventually reaching a point of no return.
The book ends at that point and leaves a feeling that a portentous sequel would result.
    Personal observation:
Taking a reflection of the actual historically substantiated series of world events and concomitant leaders over the past decades, indeed centuries, and superimposing that image on the OPUS DEI backdrop, the coincidence is horrifically ominous.
The frightening levels of mass migration, resurgence of nationalism, religious bigotry, cruel intolerance, and the ever-increasing rate and size of national, state and cultural divisions throughout the world are like historical fault lines, seeming to shape our world into the future. These fault lines exist right now and they are authenticated by published reports.
A bird’s eye view of the subtle backdrop described in this book, focuses on the apparently unstoppable world confusion that is exacerbated by the deliberate exploitation of the social media.
Probably, the most critical lesson that appears to be prompted by the work can be described as follows:
 There is a clear thread of centralized influence running through all world events over centuries that has been orchestrating these events. References point to secret organizations such as the
ILLUMINATI, and KNIGHTS OF MALTA, and more recently the undisguised Trilateral Commission and related structures. Their reported goal is the introduction of a New World Order.
     The fundamental life principles and guidelines established since the beginning of humanity are continually dishonoured and re-proven at great cost;
     The fundamental principle of life is deliberately corrupted and humanity seems to be indoctrinated to accepting such moral turpitude;
 People do not learn that they don’t learn!
     Extract from my own memoirs (or book-in-progress : LEADERSHIP – REALITY IN COMPLEXITY © 2015) –
    “GOVERNMENT – THE CONUNDRUM?
    For centuries governments take control of their people’s lives;
    And their motivation is always the same – fewer costs; greater efficiency;
But the result is the same too – less control by the people; more control by the state; and more damage.
MORAL: Motives never alter the facts.”
    Dem Kambouris. 5 Dec 2018/23 Feb 2019.

The Opus Dei Prophecy

The Year of the Dragon 2020/2021

Welcome to the Dragon!

Image: Martin Wootman

What, or who is the dragon and what is our fascination with this fire-breathing reptile?

In the 2020/21 Chinese Year of the Dragon we have been introduced to this mythological creature in new and spectacular ways – in particular through the rising power of hologram.

What would possess Canada to mint a gold coin with a holographic serpentine image, presumably in celebration of a Chinese Year of the Dragon?  Why have we had holographic “reality” shows of the dragon, not only in China, but also in places such as South Korea? For what reason would advertisements agents use holographic dragon images to promote 5G networking? There is a sudden excess of dragons in computer games, and even in children’s movies[1].  Why on earth do we have this focus on dragons?

The Aztec images show the dragon as a devourer of humans and in the person of Quetzalcóatl, he was deeply revered as a god. This feathered serpent appeared in every aspect of Aztec culture; he appeared in the role of creator of the cosmos and figured in the creation of mankind.  Worship of the dragon was related to the gods of wind and rain holding therefore a place of vital importance to a society dependent on agriculture. He was revered in the dawn of each new day but his wisdom reached far beyond those basic needs.

Aztec high priests included Quetzalcóatl in their titles to denote their elevated rank.  He served as the patron of the arts and science, as inventor of the calendar and letters, the protector of goldsmiths and other craftsmen.

Quetzalcóatl left by boat as he came, with a solemn promise that he would return.  So it was from the Aztecs that we gained the expectation of Quetzalcóatl’s reappearance and from the Mayans that we anticipated a date.  Curious that it coincided with the Year of the Dragon 2012/13, but as we look to 2021 as the culmination of this Chinese celebration, is it possible that their dating system was just that little bit confused?  Is the Dragon about to make his reappearance in the form of a new Quetzalcóatl?

The Dragon: Consumer and Devourer of Man

The Temple of the Feathered Serpent, also known as the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, is adorned with 260 carved dragon heads. This pre-Columbian site at Teotihuacan in central Mexico is also known for the skeletal remains of more than a hundred bodies, presumed to have been victims of sacrifice, buried beneath the structure.  In fact, human sacrifice played an integral part in the of worship of the dragon.  And it seems that human sacrifice is still required to appease him.

It could be said that the nature of the dragon is shown today through the Chinese hierarchy.  Consider for example, the disappearance into re-education camps of many of the Muslim Uighurs in the Xinjiang region of China – the persecution and “re-education” of this minority group has continued for decades without redress.  China claims Xinjiang, the Uighur Autonomous region, as their own, and the Uighurs obviously stand in their way.  This reign of terror may not directly involve human sacrifice, but it shows the nature of the Dragon – a fire-breathing persecutor – a god of terror.

Not only does the CCP persecute Muslims and other religious groups such as Tibetans and Buddhists, but there is persistent persecution of their own people. The Falun Gong, a meditative spiritual practice, also runs counter to the atheistic state policy and in July 1999 the Chinese Communist Party launched a compaign to eradicate the practice.  Falun Gong adherents are heavily persecuted.  It is estimated that hundreds of thousands – perhaps even millions – have been committed to labour camps for re-education, and they are said to receive the longest sentences and the worst treatment.  Many Falun Gong practitioners have died under torture and, reportedly, many more have been killed for the harvesting of their organs.  China’s organ transplant industry has grown exponentially over the years without any explanation as to the source of organs.[2]

Then there is the present flooding of the Yangste River, which twists and turns through many of China’s provinces much like the contortions of the dragon itself.  In fact, the Yangste drainage basin, with all its many tributaries, maintains the shape of a well-fleshed dragon with its mouth in Shanghai and tail in the Autonomous Prefecture of Yushu, Tibet!  The Three Gorges Dam was built below the site of a temple dedicated to the god of the underworld, complete with a devilish idol and maimed and dying humans at its feet. This damming of the Yangste River was said to be the triumph of the Chinese Communist Party.  Twenty-eight million cubic metres of concrete and 463,000 metric tons of steel were incorporated into its design: it spans 2,335 metres with a maximum height of 185 metres – it is indeed a great accomplishment. But was the damming of the Yangste a triumph or a potentially catastophic mistake?

The floodgates of the dam of were recently opened at night with no prior warning to inhabitants down-river.  For some reason the Chinese Communist Party issued the flood warning the following day too late for those who drowned in their sleep, or were electrocuted in its wake!

After weeks of torrential rain, the Three Gorges Dam is reputedly unsound and has “shifted, cracked and moved”, under the excessive pressure of flood water.  Should it collapse, the result would be nothing short of catastrophic for the low-lying areas of the basin and the millions of Chinese who live there.

The Yangste Basin Dragon

The last paragraph of Part 1 of Opus Dei goes back to the Mayan prophecy of the return of a man in the image of Quetzalcóatl.  Later in Opus Dei you read of his rise to power as head of world government.  During this last decade something, rather like the Three Gorges Dam, has shifted, cracked and moved.

December 21, 2012, also fell within the year of the Dragon and, although my writing may have been fanciful, darkness has entered the world.  We are living in the Corona virus era, a time when life has become uncertain and strange: where an unnamed terror lurks out of sight and could lead to a horrible death.  The power of the Dragon is on the loose!

2012

New Agers gathered expectantly in the ancient Mayan temples and worshipped around their sacred fires and, as the 21st December coincided with the winter solstice, the curious mingled with self-styled Druids to watch the winter sun breach the gap in the stone circle at Britain’s Stonehenge.  But the day dawned and went with none of the promised upheavals.  Between the dimming of the Chanukah lights and the celebration of the arrival of the Light of the World, the Power of Darkness had slipped into the world unnoticed.

Look out for my next post – The Dragon of Revelation.
