Egypt 2012 -Taking Centre Stage

Egypt 2012 – will she take centre-stage? We are seeing things move into place for the grand finale in which Egypt will play a vital prophetic role in international events.

In Biblical prophecy, Egypt plays darkness to Israel‘s light. She plays death to Israel’s life. Egypt was a kingdom that exalted death and she is still a land of tombs and relics. When the children of Israel came out of Egypt and Moses their leader had been absent for forty days, the children of Israel persuaded Aaron to create an idol. Aaron melted down their golden earrings and formed a golden calf. The Israelites had what they desired – a familiar image of Osiris.

Millennial Celebrations

The central role of Egypt in these times was clearly demonstrated by the Millennial Celebrations which took place in 1999/2000. The public was teased into believing that a culmination of events was to take place. There was the promised capping of the Great Pyramid, and the hugely anticipated opening of the southern shaft in the Queen’s Chamber.

The build-up and the the anti-climax, I believe, were both pre-planned. It was a deliberate titillation of the public which intentionally left them thirsty for more. Who is the New Osiris?

The Osiris myth is the most influential story in ancient Egyptian mythology. Who was Osiris and does he have any relevance today? And who is the New Osiris?

Of all of Egypt’s gods and goddesses, Osiris, and his female consort, Isis, are the most readily remembered. In fact, it might be true to say that they have become the embodiment, in most minds, of all other Egyptian divinities. Were Osiris and Isis mythological deities, or did the myths arise from the deeds of some actual persons?

Egypt’s Black Land – the Orion Constellation

Egypt’s heb sed ritual involved the uniting of two kingdoms. As Egypt was divided into upper and lower kingdoms, the Black and the Red Land, the natural assumption is that this symbolic act was one of unification of these two. In fact, this uniting of kingdoms signified a far deeper (and higher) intention. It has been established that the stars of Orion were associated with Osiris, the sun-god of rebirth and afterlife.

Boats of the Gods

David Rohl‘s book Legends, offers evidence that the Pharaohs of Egypt arose from a conquering nation. In the desert regions of near Wadi Abbad innumerable images of square boats adorn the rocks. This ancient graffiti is especially remarkable as the boats are not the typical Nilotic craft normally portrayed in Egyptian art , but the sun barques illustrated on the tombs of the Pharaohs. These were the ships that carried the gods into the underworld and rose with the dawn – flat-bottomed ships with high prows and sterns. The main sites of the desert inscriptions were on the routes between the Nile Valley and the Red Sea and those leading to the Eastern Desert gold mines. In many of these drawings, it is evident that the boats are being dragged across the sands by their crew. It seems that the invaders landed on the west coast of the Red Sea and journeyed overland to the Nile Valley, towing their craft with them – a journey of two hundred and thirty kilometers! Nimrod the Hunter

According to Justin, “Ninus (Nimrod) subdued all nations as far as Libya.” This would naturally have included Egypt. Diodorus Siculus agrees with this, saying that Ninus subjugated Egypt to himself.

The third person in the trinity of primeval Egypt was Khons (also known as Khonso) and the name Khons in the Egyptian comes from a source meaning “chase”. He was the son of Maut, the goddess mother who is identified with Rhea of the Chaldeans. Khons was therefore god of the chase, or the huntsman.

Similarly in the pantheon of the Roman gods, one finds the name Consus. While he was identified with Neptune, he was also known as the “god of hidden counsels” or the “concealer of secrets”. The baton is passed from Betelgeuse to Rigel, the beta. The Red Star has faded. Look to the Light.

Riddle of Rigel

Rigel/Sah approaches. His footprint is on the desert sands; his fingerprint in the night sky. A superstar in a business suit.

Rigel takes the baton from the god of Red. Edomites, Communists and Cardinals. And steps into the limelight.

Who is she that introduces Rigel to the world? He will chew and spit her out. In all her riches she is despised.
