Who is the New Osiris?

The Osiris myth is the most influential story in ancient Egyptian mythology. Who was Osiris and does he have any relevance today? And who is the New Osiris?

Of all of Egypt’s gods and goddesses, Osiris, and his female consort, Isis, are the most readily remembered. In fact, it might be true to say that they have become the embodiment, in most minds, of all other Egyptian divinities. Were Osiris and Isis mythological deities, or did the myths arise from the deeds of some actual persons?

Egypt’s Black Land – the Orion Constellation

Egypt’s heb sed ritual involved the uniting of two kingdoms. As Egypt was divided into upper and lower kingdoms, the Black and the Red Land, the natural assumption is that this symbolic act was one of unification of these two. In fact, this uniting of kingdoms signified a far deeper (and higher) intention. It has been established that the stars of Orion were associated with Osiris, the sun-god of rebirth and afterlife.

Rigel/Sah approaches. His footprint is on the desert sands. His fingerprint in the night sky. A superstar in a business suit.

Who is she that introduces Rigel to the world? He will chew and spit her out. In all her riches she is despised.

Riddle of the Hunter

The message of the gods is written in the stars. Focus of Giza is the belt of the Hunter. He points to Sirius.

The hunter over Khufu is the hourglass of this age. The sands of time have almost run their course.
